| Don't Think Twice 2 |
1. Anne and her sister Pamela don't get along.
2. Anne's mom forced Pamela to write to Anne because she thought it would make her feel better.
3. Anne goes to a group meeting where she seems to get annoyed by everyone that speaks.
4. Donna still thinks that she and her boyfriend will be together, although rumors say that he has a new girlfriend.
5. LaNelle talks about how concerned she is about giving up her baby.
• Why is Anne so inconsiderate?
• What gender is Anne's baby?
• How can she not care about the human being growing inside her?
• Why don't Anne and her sister Pamela get along?
Illegitimate (adjective) - born out of wedlock
ex. Aubrey had an illegitimate child.
Wispy (adjective ) - a small bunch
ex. The wispy plant had a tough time growing.
Smite (verb) - to strike or to hit hard
ex. The king's sword had smitten many men.

"Even Harriet has stopped knitting and is clutching her Bible like it's a sponge she's trying to wring out." (Pg#25) - Smilie
I think that Anne don't want to acknowledge that she's pregnant, so that she doesn't have to feel sorry for herself. |
